I also look forward to seeing lots of you at our annual Downsview Park Fall Fair, which takes place on Sunday, October 4. More details on the fair can be found in this newsletter.
But Downsview Park is more than a place for Special Events, it is a place where we are continuing to create a new way of living, a celebration of our relationship to our land in the 21st century and beyond. The work that we continue to do with the City of Toronto, the Secondary Plan and Zoning brings to life the complete package that is the Downsview Park experience—a place to live, work, play and learn. Through our working relationships with our partners today in our tenants and new opportunities that our REI for the Stanley Greene Neighborhood will bring tomorrow, we are confident that the full story of Dowsnview Park will continue to unfold in a positive and constructive manner.
Also of note, Parc Downsview Park Inc.’s 2008-09 annual report was completed and made publicly available on July 27, 2009. An electronic version is available for viewing or download from our website. Hardcopies are also available at our offices at 35 Carl Hall Road. I hope your enjoy reviewing this newsletter.
As always, I welcome your comments and feedback in helping us realize this vision for you, locally and Canadians from sea to sea to sea.
