Downsview Park’s Trail of Lights lit
up the skies and festive spirits for an exhilarating 34 consecutive nights from November 28 to December 31, 2008. As Canada’s largest walk-through holiday light show, the Trail
of Lights featured two kilometres of light displays made up of 400,000 LED
lights, including a 13-metre tall decorated tree. Visitors enjoyed free pictures with Santa
and Downsie, Downsview Park’s official mascot, free wagon rides, choir performances by local school and community choirs, a photo competition and more.
To watch a video of Trail highlights, check out contest winners or view photos, visit www.downsviewpark.ca. Now an annual event, Trail of Lights will be back again at Downsview Park in December 2009. See you on the Trail!
