Soccer |
|
Adult – You put together the team, we put you in competition! Register your team (minimum six players) in one of
our men’s or women’s divisions. Players must be at least 18 years of age. Twelve games guaranteed. Visit our league page for more information.
Youth – The youth fall/winter league is now underway. New registration begins again October 2010.
Tournaments – Downsview Park is offering a new Holiday Classic Youth Tournament from December 21 to December 30. Youth teams are encouraged to register before December 15. And for adult teams, Downsview Park is running the Adult Holiday Cash Soccer Tournament on December 27 with cash prizes for the top teams.

Got a sport without a home? Settle in at The Hangar where you can rent the ball hockey arena, beach volleyball courts, and indoor and outdoor fields. New users include floorball and Aussie Rules Football camp for kids (running December to March).

| New Sports Facility: True North Climbing |
|
| Rock climbing just arrived in the Park! True North Climbing will rock your world with a large new indoor rock climbing facility, scheduled to open early in 2010. The new gym will feature over 14,000 square feet of climbing terrain, including top rope, lead climbing and bouldering. The routes and problems will span all levels of difficulty, so a beginner can have as much fun as an expert climber. Visit their website and blog for more information about the progress of the construction and plans, including a Tour de Bloc bouldering competition scheduled for March 27. |
