Downsview Park was the host site for the Municipal Equipment and Operations Association (MEOA) and Ontario Parks Association (OPA) Fall Equipment Show. The event included three educational seminars in the morning and an outdoor equipment demonstration area. The MEOA provides a common meeting ground where members work together to improve practices within their profession. |

Weekend to End Breast Cancer

The park was a whirl of pink and blue as hundreds of men, women and families walked to raise funds for the fight against breast cancer. Downsview Park is the stopping point and overnight camp for the 60-kilometre walk and fundraiser.

Fall Fair

Faces were painted and faces were carved into pumpkins galore at Downsview Park’s Annual Fall Fair. The corner of Keele and Sheppard burst into true fall colour as families enjoyed the West Coast Lumberjack Show, buskers, scarecrow making, air brush tattoos, roasted corn-on-the-cob, petting zoo and other entertainment.

An affordable night out! Round up the kids, grandparents and friends, pack up the car and head to Downsview Park for a night of oohing and ahhing at the sight of lots of lights. Prices on drive-through evenings are per vehicle. One car, seven people, $20 – now that’s a deal!
